Our appetizers were good! The calamari was very good quality. The flatbread was average. We ordered one mixed cocktail and that was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the Kobe burger which was by far our favorite dish. The meat was delicious and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The truffle tater tots were some of the best we’ve ever had. I ordered the sea scallops and unfortunately do not recommend. The dish came together okay, but overall the flavors, especially that of the scallops, were not very good. For the price of the food, our expectations were somewhat high, and our experience was a bit of a disappointment. The service was great! They always kept our water cups filled and everything came out in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, we do not think we will be returning

Mixed experience overall. 5 stars drinks, 3 stars food. For the money and leaving about $190 lighter ($68 in drinks) we hoped for a bit more with the food as everything was overall okay but nothing superb. Would try again, but would look to either steaks or burger. We had 4 drinks total and all 4 were excellent. I imagine anything on the cocktail list would easily impress. Started with tuna tartare which was good, but on its own and seemed like it was missing something simple to go with it like baguette slices or even crackers. Meals were salmon and duck breast. Salmon was good, but simple cooked salmon with nothing else to say about it. Tater tots I chose to accompany were fantastic. Duck breast and side for my wife was a bit less positive. Duck was served on the cool side, and she chose fingerling potatoes and some of the larger ones were simply uncooked. Had I known about this at the time I would have let the server know, however for the money spent I would expect fully cooked potatoes without need to notify anyone.

We came here for dinner before a concert in Akron and we had an amazing experience. The drinks were delicious and the food was AMAZING! I forgot to take pictures of the food before we started eating (we were very hungry 😅) but snapped a few when I remembered. We ordered the fungi flatbread, the pasta trio and tempura shrimp - all wonderful! Prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back again next time we are in Akron!

Honestly the best restaurant and service I've ever had. The food was just amazing and plated beautifully! The taste was rich and delicious! I will be returning to do another chef table experience! I recommend calling ahead and getting a reservation so you get seating automatically, otherwise it might be hard to get a seat. I also highly recommend doing a chef table experience with wine tasting! 5 course chef table without wine is $90 a person, with wine it's $120 a person. Chef table courses goes all the way to 21 courses and I'm dieing to try that menu! Great job chef's!

We came for our anniversary as we love to spoil ourselves with DBA. The food is so craveable! You seriously want to order everything. The wine offerings are top notch and the cocktails are the delicious. We had Greg as our waiter and was attentive without being overbearing, funny and kind. If you are looking for amazing food and drink look no further.

My initial visit to the restaurant two weeks ago was a delight; the food and overall experience were exceptional. However, when I returned with friends last week, the situation took a disappointing turn. Although the server started off amicably, she consistently forgot small details. Following the main course, she disappeared and engaged in lengthy conversations with another table, neglecting our needs entirely. Our friend, who is expecting, ordered a well-done Kobe burger that arrived raw. Despite our attempts to get the server's attention by waving for 10-15 minutes, she remained engrossed in conversation with the other table. Frustrated, we had to approach her ourselves, emphasizing the urgency due to the pregnancy. Her response, a casual remark about having kids and understanding, was disheartening. The dessert experience further added to our dissatisfaction. The server handed us the menu, returned to the same table, and ignored us for a prolonged 20 minutes while we awaited her return. When we finally managed to place our order and request the check, one of our friends couldn't contain their frustration, making a comment about at least bringing one thing quickly – the check. Post-dinner, we decided to address our concerns with the manager. To our surprise, he shifted the blame to us, citing the shaky nature of the industry and accusing us of being mean to the server. Spending $400, we expected attentive service, timely orders, and plates cleared. The manager's warning about not being rude to servers, hinting at potential repercussions in the food, left us astounded. Regrettably, our once-loved restaurant has now become a place we have no intention of revisiting.

Just finished a lovely dinner on the patio and had to give 5 stars. The space is lovely, and the food was delicious. I had the Kobe burger on the recommendation of my waiter, Greg, and he was spot on. Everyone working was excellent, extremely friendly, and the service was top notch. When I’m traveling for work, a nice dinner spot is always a plus, but friendly staff and a nice atmosphere to chill with a book is the cherry on top. Highly recommend.
